Granite

A multi-various volcanic stone of such unusual hardness and toughness that it is more durable than marble, natural granite produces a surface sealer that helps the stone withstand staining and aging. Granite's rather coarse crystalline structure results in all types of granite being characterized by a non-porous density that does not need the aid of polyester coating. With a variability of crystal structure, the different granites produce a striking individuality of appearance.

MAMAGREEN uses pure black granite, an extremely dark variety whose color is broken up by gleaming mica crystals. Glossy black or subdued polish are the two finishes used in, the contrast with teak or stainless steel a feature of the eco-chic naturalness of MAMAGREEN casual settings. Clean regularly with non-abrasive commercial cleaners to prevent age discoloration. The natural sealer should be renewed by occasional application of a marble wax to maintain the granite's luster and finish.
