At Yard Art, we want you to shop with confidence. This Return Policy explains which items are eligible for return, how to start a return, when refunds are issued, and what to do if an item arrives damaged or incorrect.
Return Eligibility
Eligible in-stock, non-custom items may be returned within 30 days of delivery if they are:
- unused,
- uninstalled,
- in original condition,
- and returned in the original packaging with all included parts and materials.
The following items are non-returnable and final sale unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect:
- custom or made-to-order items,
- special-order items,
- items that have been installed, used, altered, or damaged after delivery,
- clearance or closeout items
- and any item marked final sale on the product page.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery at help@uniquegardendecor.com and include:
- your order number,
- photos of the item,
- photos of the packaging,
- and a brief description of the issue.
For approved claims, Yard Art will provide a replacement, repair solution, or refund, depending on the situation.
How to Start a Return
To request a return, email help@uniquegardendecor.com or call 925-234-3153 within the applicable return window. If your return is approved, we will provide return instructions and the correct return address.
Please do not send items back without return authorization.
Return Shipping and Fees
- For items that are damaged, defective, or shipped in error, Yard Art will cover the return or replacement process as applicable.
- For approved returns of eligible non-custom items, original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Return shipping costs for non-defective returns are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated.
- Approved non-defective returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%, depending on the item and manufacturer requirements. Any applicable fee will be confirmed before the return is finalized.
Refunds
Once the returned item is received and inspected, approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Refund timing may vary depending on your bank or card provider.
Delivery Inspection
Please inspect all merchandise carefully at the time of delivery. The carrier will require a signature on the delivery receipt before releasing your shipment. If any visible damage is present, it must be noted on the delivery receipt before signing. Visible damage that is not documented at delivery may limit eligibility for a refund or damage claim. If concealed damage is discovered after delivery, please contact us within 72 hours.
Refused Deliveries
If a customer refuses delivery of an order that is not damaged or incorrect, the customer may be responsible for redelivery fees, the original shipping charges, return shipping charges, and any applicable restocking fees.
