Dewey Dining Chair

The Dewey Dining Chair proves that remarkable design can be practical, comfortable, and unexpectedly lightweight. With its sculptural stone-inspired appearance and cleverly integrated carrying handle, Dewey brings a refreshing approach to contemporary outdoor seating. Weighing just 30 pounds, this distinctive chair is easy to reposition around patios, dining terraces, and outdoor gathering areas.

What makes the Dewey Outdoor Dining Chair particularly unique is the way its handle doubles as a drainage opening. Rather than treating these features as separate functional details, Zachary A. Design incorporates them seamlessly into the chair’s form. The result is an elegantly understated piece that combines artistic expression with everyday convenience.

Handcrafted to order in Chicago, the Dewey Outdoor Dining Chair is constructed from a durable blend of resin, stone aggregate, and fiberglass. This specialized composite creates the substantial appearance of stone while remaining significantly lighter than traditional concrete furniture. Designed to withstand rain, sun, and snow, Dewey is suitable for year-round outdoor use in both residential and hospitality environments.

CREATED FOR SPACES THAT CHANGE WITH THE OCCASION

Measuring 19″ W x 21.5″ D x 32″ H, with a 17″ seat height, Dewey offers an inviting seating profile for modern outdoor environments. Its lightweight construction makes rearranging furniture convenient, whether preparing for a dinner gathering, creating additional conversation seating, or adjusting a patio layout for the season.

• Integrated handle makes repositioning the chair convenient
• Discreet drainage design helps manage outdoor moisture
• Lightweight 30 lb construction with substantial stone-like styling
• Suitable for contemporary patios and outdoor dining terraces

• Minimalist silhouette complements architectural outdoor spaces

BUILD A DISTINCTIVE OUTDOOR SEATING ARRANGEMENT

For an outdoor dining area with a strong architectural character, pair the Dewey Outdoor Dining Chair with the Spindle Dining Table. Its distinctive pedestal silhouette creates an appealing contrast with Dewey’s softly sculpted form.

For a more expansive entertaining space, consider the Apertura Dining Table, an alternative that complements contemporary furniture arrangements. Customers exploring different seating silhouettes may also appreciate the Stone Dining Chair, another sculptural piece with a stone-inspired appearance.
