The Large Sphere Fountain by Campania International brings a rounded ball shape to a clean cube pedestal, giving the piece a calm but noticeable garden presence. Its simple geometry works well across broader fountain styles because the silhouette feels sculptural without becoming too formal. As a modern outdoor fountain made from Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete, it has the lighter strength needed for a larger outdoor water feature while keeping a smooth, polished look.
Water moves gently over the sphere and settles into the square base, making the fountain easy to place near planting beds, paved entries, or a centered courtyard layout. The ball form softens the straight pedestal below it, so the overall shape feels balanced rather than heavy. Portland cement based composite material with moisture resistant glass fibers randomly dispersed throughout the material.The fibers serve as reinforcement to enhance the concrete’s flexural, tensile, and impactstrength. The glass fibers used are high zirconia alkali resistant. GFRC is manufacturedusing the spray up technique resulting in a wall thickness of approximately ½” (tolerance +/- 1/8″). The high compressive strength of our GFRC results in a frost proof, thaw proof,rust proof, and fire proof material that meets the standards for commercial use.
