The Le Notre Rectangle Planter offers a clean horizontal edge to planting designs. Its modern rectangular shape works well along walkways, open terraces, hospitality patios, and larger outdoor settings that need structured greenery without the weight of traditional cast stone. Made by Campania International, it is crafted from moisture resistant Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete for improved strength.

Two sizes give the planter flexibility for different layouts. The GFRC material is made to handle UV exposure, high heat, frost, thaw cycles, soil contact, and year round outdoor placement without corrosion. That durability makes it a smart fit as a commercial planter to rooftop installations, public spaces, and custom projects that need scale with reduced material weight.

For planting plans that required reduced material weight, the Le Notre Rectangle Planter can be used with other rectangular planters or coordinated with the Le Notre Square Planter.

Material Options

Portland cement based composite material with moisture resistant glass fibers randomly dispersed throughout the material.The fibers serve as reinforcement to enhance the concrete’s flexural, tensile, and impactstrength. The glass fibers used are high zirconia alkali resistant. GFRC is manufacturedusing the spray up technique resulting in a wall thickness of approximately ½” (tolerance +/- 1/8″). The high compressive strength of our GFRC results in a frost proof, thaw proof,rust proof, and fire proof material that meets the standards for commercial use.

Designed to be durable in 4 season exteriors, with water drainage built in. They may be left outside year-round. GFRC planters are frequently specified for rooftops and terraces, hospitality, large scale public space installations and custom projects. Our GFRC replicates the look and feel of cast stone at a significantly lighter weight. They are a great choice for jobs that do not allow for heavy-weight materials and where large scale plantings are required. Because of their lighter weight, GFRC planters are easier to ship and material handle on the job. GFRC planters can withstand UV exposure and extreme temperatures,
from high heat to frost and can tolerate the seasonal thaw cycles. Additionally, they won’t corrode due to exposure or direct contact with soil.
